Program Objective


To prepare students with employable skills as a Medical Administrative Assistant in order to work in hospitals, nursing homes, or any applicable health care facility.

Skills To Be Learned


Medical Administrative Assistants are trained to provide for the physical comfort and safety of patients, manage patient records, aid in coding insurance forms, prepare and process insurance claims, and undertake the day-to-day operations of a medical office.

Upon successful completion of this program graduates will be prepared to sit for the certification examination.

Career Opportunity


A Medical Administrative Assistant program graduate will be able to seek employment in hospitalism, nursing homes, long-term care, clinics, physician office administration, and the healthcare field.
